Greek Infused Salad
Our version of a Greek/Aussie infused salad
Isn't it nice to finally feel this weather warming up? For the people up there in the northern states we know you've been enjoying some warmer temps for a few weeks now. However down here in Melbourne it's only been the past few days where we have started thawing out. So with this season change it's nice to feel the salads coming back into fashion for our new warmer months of the year.
Today we are bringing you something quick and super easy that will be a winner for the whole family. Our version of a Greek/Aussie infused flavour salad. Sounds a bit weird but let me tell you that it totally works! You can also feel guilt free with this and practically enjoy as much as you desire (apart from the feta cheese).
What you'll need
- 1 small cos lettuce chopped up
- 3 quartered small beetroot
- 1 diced whole tomato
- 1 cubed lebanese cucumber
- 1/2 diced avocado
- 12 kalamata olives
- 1 quartered artichoke heart
- a few cubes of greek feta
So there you have it! This is how easily you can whip up a nutritious and healthy salad fit for a family in just a matter of minutes. Creating great tasting healthy food shouldn't take ages to make. This is easier and quicker than ordering take away and will have you satisfied and feeling way better in your own skin.
